This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, process and use about you. We therefore ask you to read the following information carefully.
1. Collection of personal data

1.2 Personal data or data that can be related to you may also include information about your use of our website. As with any website, our server automatically and temporarily collects information in the server log files that are transmitted by the browser, unless you have deactivated this. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security (legal basis Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR):
- IP address of the requesting computer
- File request from the client
- The http response code
- The website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL),
- The time of the server request
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used by the requesting computer
A personal evaluation of the server log files does not take place. This data cannot be assigned to specific persons by the provider at any time. This data is not merged with other data sources.
2. Intended use
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
2.1 In order to provide the services requested by you (receipt and machining of your online inquiry or messages via the contact request form, receipt and machining of document attachments, receipt and machining of questions, messages and offers – also by telephone/e-mail, or to initiate a business relationship) for which you voluntarily provide us with data. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR;
2.2 To ensure that our website is presented to you in the most effective and interesting way possible (e.g. storage of display preferences, our own market and opinion research). The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR;
2.3 To fulfill our obligations arising from any contracts concluded between you and us. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR;
2.4 To enable you to participate in interactive offers, if you so wish. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR or Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR;
2.5 To inform you about changes to our services. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.
3. Information about your computer, cookies and targeting
3.1 Each time our website is accessed, we collect the information specified in section 1.2.
3.2 We may also collect information about your use of our website through the use of so-called browser cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your data carrier and that store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie data was sent as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identifier. Cookies enable our systems to recognize the user’s device and make any default settings immediately available. As soon as a user accesses the platform, a cookie is transferred to the hard disk of the user’s computer. Cookies help us to improve our website and offer you a better and more personalized service. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. They enable us to recognize your computer when you return to our website and thereby:
- Store information about your preferred activities on the website and thus tailor our website to your individual interests. This includes, for example, advertising that corresponds to your personal interests;
- Speed up the processing of your requests;
3.3 The cookies we use only store the data explained above about your use of the website. This is not done by assigning it to you personally, but by assigning an identification number to the cookie (“cookie ID”). The cookie ID is not merged with your name, IP address or similar data that would allow the cookie to be assigned to you. You can find out how to prevent the use of browser cookies in section 3.6.
Please find here details on our Cookie Policy.
3.4 Our website uses so-called tracking technologies. We use these technologies to make our website more interesting for you. This technology makes it possible to address Internet users who have already shown an interest in our website with advertising on the websites of our partners. These advertisements are displayed on our partners’ websites on the basis of cookie technology and an analysis of previous user behavior. This analysis is carried out under a pseudonym and no user profiles are merged with your personal data. If you do not agree to the creation of user profiles, you can object to this by sending us a message. A special opt-out cookie will then be stored on your computer, which must be saved permanently. If you delete this cookie or it is automatically deleted by browser settings, you will have to reinstall this cookie when you visit our site again.
3.5 We work together with business partners who support us in making the Internet offer and the website more interesting for you. For this reason, cookies from these partner companies are also stored on your hard disk when you visit the website. These are cookies that are automatically deleted after the specified time. The cookies of our partner companies also only collect data under a cookie ID, which enables our advertising partners to address you with advertising that may actually be of interest to you. You can find out how to prevent the use of such cookies in section 3.6.
3.6 If you do not wish to use browser cookies, you can set your browser so that the storage of cookies is not accepted. Please note that in this case you may only be able to use our website to a limited extent or not at all. If you only wish to accept our own cookies, but not the cookies of our service providers and partners, you can select the “Block third-party cookies” setting in your browser.
Cookie Management
To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found here.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.
The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

3.8 Google Maps
We use the Google Maps service on this website. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently. The legal basis for the use of Google Maps is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.
When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. In addition, the data mentioned in section 1.2 of this declaration is transmitted. This occurs irrespective of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right.

3.10 Social networks
On our website you will find links to the social networks Facebook, X Corp., YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn. In contrast to social media plugins (e.g. the Facebook “Like” button), personal connection data is only generated when you access the respective social network by using the link.
3.11 LinkedIn Insight Tag
We use the “LinkedIn Insight Tag”, a tracking technology of the LinkedIn platform, a service of LinkedIn Ireland, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2 (Ireland). With the aforementioned LinkedIn technology, you can be shown more relevant advertising based on your interests. We also receive aggregated and anonymous reports from LinkedIn about advertising activities and information about how you interact with our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
LinkedIn uses cookies for this purpose. These cookies are used to uniquely identify a web browser on a specific computer, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used to personally identify our website users. The information collected using the cookie is used to compile the aforementioned anonymous statistics and reports and to display advertising based on your interests.
You can deactivate the LinkedIn Insight Tag and interest-based advertising by opting out at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out
If you are a LinkedIn member, click on the “Decline on LinkedIn” field. Other visitors click on “Decline”.
3.12 WP Armour
To protect our website from unwanted and automated spam messages, we use the plugin WP Armour – Honeypot Anti Spam. This plugin helps prevent spam, particularly in forms such as contact forms, comment sections, and registration or login areas.
WP Armour uses a honeypot technique, which involves adding an extra form field that is invisible to human users. Automated bots typically fill out this field, allowing them to be identified and blocked as spam. The plugin does not actively process personal data within the meaning of the GDPR, as it does not store IP addresses or transmit data to third parties. It also does not set cookies or contact any external servers.
The use of this plugin is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in protecting our website from misuse and spam.
For more information about the plugin and its GDPR-compliant usage, please visit the official website of the provider at: https://dineshkarki.com.np/wp-armour-anti-spam.
3.13 WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin)
This website uses WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin), a plugin from OnTheGoSystems Ltd., 22/F 3 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong, to display a multilingual website. WPML uses cookies to remember the language selected by the user and to display the content of the website accordingly. The following information is processed:
- the language last selected by the user
- aggregated data on page views per language
WPML itself does not store any personal data of users. The plugin only accesses information from the current page visit in order to save the language setting. Further information on data processing by WPML can be found at: https://wpml.org/documentation/privacy-policy-and-gdpr-compliance/
3.14 Font Awesome
This website uses Font Awesome, a service provided by Fonticons, Inc., 6 Porter Road Apartment 3R, Cambridge, MA 02140, USA, for the uniform display of icons and symbols. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts from Font Awesome into your browser cache to display text and icons correctly. This usually involves the user’s IP address being transmitted to Fonticons, Inc. Font Awesome may also collect information about the browser used, the operating system and other technical data.
The use of Font Awesome is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings and is therefore based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used. Further information can be found in Font Awesome’s privacy policy: https://fontawesome.com/privacy

This website is based on the content management system WordPress, an open source project of the WordPress Foundation, 660 4th Street, Box 119, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

4. Data collection and processing of voluntarily provided data
4.1 Application portal
4.1.1 General information
On our careers page, you can send unsolicited applications or apply for specific vacancies. For this purpose, we offer you the opportunity to use our application portal. Your data (surname, first name, private address, CV, professional career, certificates, proof of qualifications, severe disability, cover letter) will only be processed within the scope of the respective job advertisement (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR, § 26 BDSG) or within the scope of the consent you have given for use for further job offers (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR). If you have given us your consent to process your application data, you can withdraw this at any time. An automated preliminary decision on your application will not be made.
4.1.2 Integration of third-party providers in the application process
To simplify the application process, we alternatively offer you the following options where third-party providers assist with data entry:
- So-called CV parsing,
- the use of your LinkedIn profile,
- the use of your XING profile, or
- Upload from your Dropbox.
You do not have to use these offers to apply to us, but can also fill in the input fields manually. In this case, no data processing by third parties takes place.
CV parsing is a function that automatically captures application-relevant data from a CV you have uploaded and inserts it into the input fields of the applicant questionnaire. To use CV parsing, select the “Upload CV” button and follow the further instructions. We use an applicant tool from d.vinci HR-Systems GmbH, Nagelsweg 37-39, 20097 Hamburg (“d.vinci”) for the service. d.vinci uses a product from Textkernel BV, Nieuwendammerkade 28/a17, 1022 AB, Amsterdam, Netherlands for the applicant tool and specifically for the CV parsing function. We have concluded a data processing agreement with d.vinci (Art. 28 GDPR). d.vinci is bound by our instructions and does not use your data for its own purposes. Textkernel BV is a sub-processor of d.vinci and is bound by the instructions of d.vinci and therefore indirectly by our instructions with regard to the processing of your data by means of an agreement on commissioned processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
To transfer the data from your LinkedIn profile, select the “Use LinkedIn profile” button in the application process and follow the further instructions. If you have set up a LinkedIn profile, LinkedIn will transmit the stored data to us at your request. LinkedIn collects and processes data itself and may link it to the profile you have set up if you use this option. The data transfer to LinkedIn takes place on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in simplifying our application process by making ourselves more attractive to applicants through the integration of widely used services. LinkedIn is a service provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. Information on data protection at LinkedIn can be found at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?trk=homepage-basic_footer-privacy-policy.
To transmit the data from your XING profile, select the “Use XING profile” button in the application process and follow the further instructions. If you have set up a XING profile, XING will then transmit the data requested in the application form and provided by you on XING to us, if available. The application form will then be pre-filled with your data, but you can still make corrections and additions. XING also collects and processes data itself and may link it to the account you have set up if you use this option. Data is transmitted to XING on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in an attractive and simple design of our application process. In order to address as many applicants as possible and to lower the hurdles for submitting an application, we integrate the XING portal, which has a high degree of dissemination as a professional and business network. XING is a service provided by XING SE, Dammtorstraße 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Information on data processing at XING SE can be found at https://privacy.xing.com/de/datenschutzerklaerung.
To send us a CV that you have previously uploaded to Dropbox, please select the “CV to Dropbox” button in the application process and follow the further instructions. Dropbox will then transmit the previously uploaded CV to us at your request. Dropbox collects and processes data itself and may link it to your Dropbox account if you use this option. The data transfer to Dropbox takes place on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in simplifying our application process by making ourselves more attractive to applicants through the integration of widely used services. Dropbox is a service provided by Dropbox International Unlimited Company, One Park Place, Floor 5, Upper Hatch Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Information on data protection at Dropbox can be found at https://www.dropbox.com/privacy.
4.1.3 Note on sensitive data
We expressly draw your attention to the fact that applications, in particular CVs, references and other data you submit to us, may contain particularly sensitive information about mental and physical health, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or political party or sex life.
If you provide us with such information in your online application, you expressly agree that we may process this data for the purpose of processing your application. This data will be processed in accordance with this privacy policy and other relevant legislation. Depending on your application, we may transfer your data to affiliated company locations in third countries. The legal basis for this is Art. 49 para. 1 lit. b) or lit. c) GDPR.
4.1.4 Deletion
The transmitted data will be deleted 6 months after the end of the application process; an applicant pool will not be set up. If statutory provisions prevent deletion or further storage is required for the purpose of providing evidence or if you have consented to longer storage, the data may be stored for longer.
